Being European, I rather know next to nothing about American football so I couldn’t imagine myself sympathizing too much with the main character, Marcus Dupree, but it turned out to be pretty much the opposite. The best that never was is part of ESPN’s 30 for 30 series and we get to hear quite a story here. Despite everything going from bad to worse, the look on his (Marcus) face towards the end of the production, left me with nothing but admiration. Lesson to be learned: Don’t be afraid of failure, as you’re neither the first or the last to experience it. Instead, embrace it.
